A Client got in touch with a really tricky site in Watford. She has had 2 previous refusals for a new house on land to the rear of her property. The issue being one of scale being out of keeping with the locality.
Following a pre-application enquiry and a Zoom meeting with the planner, an innovative design solution has been reached which hopefully the planners can agree to – we have partially buried the house into the ground, and with an inverted plan have the living accommodation on the upper floor.
The design could not be much more efficient in terms of space, and addresses all the concerns that the pre-app through up – now we wait!
