Planning application submitted for a residential extension in Denham

A planning application has been submitted for single and two storey extensions to a property in Denham Green, Buckinghamshire. The project for a young couple to extend their first home will provide additional bedroom, bathroom and an enlarged kitchen / dining area. Amber Architecture had earlier completed a similar extension to the adjacent house. (Updated 26/06/25)

Proposals are currently being prepared for a new infil housng scheme for social housing in the Thames Valley. Awaiting board approval, it is anticpated that a planning application will be submitted in the next few weeks. (Updated 26/06/25)

Planning approved for residential extension - St Albans

Our Clients are delighted to have secured planning approval for this single storey extension to their semi-detached house in St Albans. Working drawings have also been passed by Building Control, and work is due to commence later this year. Amber Architecture will also be preparing a Party Wall award with the adjoining owner. Extension and refurbishment - Hounslow

Amber Architecture have been appointed to carry out a full design and Contract Administration service to update this very tired and dilapidated semi-detached property in London Borough of Hounslow. Planning applications are currently being considered to extend the property, and the facilities will be upgreaded to modern standards. The owner has temporarily moved out whilst works are carried out, and is looking forward to moving back to a spruced new home later this year! (Updated 26/06/25)

Conversion of basement - Listed Building

A commercial client is looking to convert an existing basement in their GII Listed Building in Braintree. Pre-application advice has been sought with the Historic Buildings advisor to the Council, and agreement has been reached that we can progress to submission of a planning and Listed buildings application. Specialist waterproofing methods will be required to enable the space to be used, whilst retaining the integrity of the historic fabic of the building.
